Grey Reef Spring Flush 2018
The 2018 Grey Reef Spring flush is scheduled for March 12-21.
The Grey Reef flushing flows generally lasts a week to 10 days. The fishing is generally really good after the first few days when the water clears the sediment out then the fish go crazy on the stirred up food.
The flushing flows are expected to clean the spawning gravels of fine sediment which has accumulated over the winter. The purpose of the flushing flows is to improve trout reproduction in the river. Here is the normal schedule.
